Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ArtistAlly, operated by Alchemy Lab LLC(“we,” “us,” or “our”) at artistally.alchemylab.sh. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

ArtistAlly aggregates convention and conference information for the furry, anime, and gaming communities, and provides planning tools for artists, vendors, and attendees — including registration tracking, notifications, inventory and expense tracking, and sales analytics.

Event information is provided as-is and may be wrong. Event details (dates, registration windows, hotel blocks, pricing) are collected from public sources, partly using AI-powered search, and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Always verify critical details — especially registration deadlines and costs — directly with the convention before acting on them. We are not responsible for missed deadlines, travel bookings, or other decisions made in reliance on information shown in the service.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. Accounts created via a third-party identity provider (Google, Microsoft) are also subject to that provider’s terms.
  • You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. Deletion is processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

  • The core service is free. ArtistAlly Pro is a paid subscription (currently $5/month) that unlocks additional features as described on the pricing page.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time via the billing portal (“Manage subscription”). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Pro access until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
  • Free-tier limits and Pro pricing may change. We will give existing subscribers reasonable advance notice of any price change before it takes effect.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (event suggestions, notes, labels, and similar). By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, process, and display it as needed to operate the service. Event suggestions are processed by an AI-powered search engine as disclosed on the suggestion form, and approved suggestions become part of the public event directory (without your personal information).

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or malicious.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Access the service by automated means except public pages and documented feeds;
  • Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or subscription gating;
  • Probe or test the security of the service without our written permission;
  • Use the service to harass others or to distribute spam or malware.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Analytics and export features (including tax exports) are informational tools, not financial or tax advice — review exported figures with a qualified professional.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alchemy Lab LLC’s total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or missed registration windows.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify account holders (by email or in-app notice) before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Alchemy Lab LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
